Mother was a personal Medical Alarm user for
several years, until her passing at the age of 94. That was Feb 16,

93. My sister and I took turns taking care of our mother. She lived in our homes with us, up until the very last. She wore her pendant all of the time, except at night, she would lay it on the lamp stand beside her bed. It gave us great peace of mind to know that when we were not there to tend to her needs, she always had her wireless medical alarm. Several times while we were gone, she pressed the pendant, and talked to the medical alarm response center. One time she pressed her pendant and did not know it. She heard a voice say, Lillie are you ok? She was startled and said who is there? The voice came back this is John, do you need any help? Well it just so happened that John was the name of a deceased boy friend from her younger days. So for a minute or so she thought her John had come back to assist her. She and we all had a good laugh about that call. Now we will not promise that an old boy friend or girl friend will respond to your call for help.
